About
The Art
An exploration of the delicate and profound cycle of life, entropy, and the enduring resonance that we leave behind. In this work, bodily remains are transformed into acts of reverence and artistic expression, paying homage to the fragile beauty of existence. I think of it as breathing new life into the discarded forms of once-living creatures, crafting pieces that bridge life and fate. I invite you to enjoy as you meditate on mortality, memory, and legacy.
About
The Process
Each subject is ethically and thoughtfully sourced—discovered along forest trails, gathered from roadsides, or entrusted to me through commissioned work. Every life has already run its course before our paths cross, and I handle all remains with deep care. The preservation process may seem unsettling, but understanding is the first step toward appreciation, and through this work, I have come to know my subjects intimately. This allows me to present them in a way that honors their form and invites reflection.

About Cooper
The Artist
I find inspiration in the natural elegance of bone and the quiet mysteries whispered by death. Since my youth, I have gathered and cleaned skeletal remains from pastures and roadsides, drawn to the order that can be found within life’s inevitable disorder. Specializing in bone art, I also explore wet preservation and taxidermy, choosing the medium that best serves each subject. Through my creations, I seek to inspire a unique intimacy with nature and contemplations on the interconnectedness of life. Commissions are welcome.
From my rotting body, flowers shall grow
and I am in them and that is eternity.
